Eric Murenzi, Co-Founder & CEO

 

Eric is passionate about creating more employment opportunities to Rwandans through expanding the foreign investment in Rwanda. He is studying in the Kigali Independent University and is in the final stages of completing his B.A in Economic and Business Studies, specializing in Finance. He is writing his thesis on ethics and business, researching how ethical considerations impact the success and growth of a business. Besides founding Startup Rwanda and studying for his B.A, he also works as the marketing agent for Guide in Rwanda, advising on marketing strategies and creating partnerships between the company and places of interest for ecotourism.

We are an experienced and dedicated team that knows the Rwandan market and has the capacity to provide you with all the information and connections you'll need to create your own business. Startup Rwanda will give you personal guidance that will be tailor-made to your business.

 

Amon Nizeyimana, Co-Founder & COO

 

Amon is studying Business Information Technology in the National University of Rwanda. He has vast experience in enterpreneurship, being the Co-Founder of an NGO called TBR, which helps youth to identify challenges they face and come up with different ideas for solutions. He worked as a Facilitator in Abakundanye School, guiding vulnerable teenagers, who dropped out of secondary school and are working in the local market, to become their own agents of change. Through a 6-month process, he assisted the group in designing and implementing their own social impact project.

Inbar Ziv

 

Inbar has a vast experience in the entrepreneurship field, both in developing and developed countries. In 2012, she co-founded an entrepreneurship center in Jerusalem, Israel, named SifTech, which operates the first and only accelerator program in the city, and since then is working as the Co-Director of the center. In the summer of 2013, she interned in a Rwandan-based NGO, named Spark MicroGrants, which employs a model that combines entrepreneurship and development in order to lead vulnerable communities to create their own social change projects. Inbar holds a B.A in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Humanities Studies, and is now studying International Community Development, both at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
